You use your inclusive services (telephone flat rate & data volume) in all EU countries as well as in Great Britain (including Gibraltar), Norway, Iceland and Liechtenstein at no additional cost (excluding Switzerland). Outside the EU, you can use the Freenet Travel offer — simply scan the attached QR code, install eSIM and select the country and the appropriate package.


If you call a foreign number from Germany, you will incur costs. You will not incur any costs if you call a German number, even if the person you are calling is abroad. Calls via WhatsApp or Skype are generally free of charge.

Here's how it works for us:
1. On the way to checkout, you specify whether you want to take over your mobile phone number or not.
2nd We will activate your plan with a transition number immediately after verification.
3rd You will receive an email from us with a link to order the phone number transfer. You must cancel your phone number with your previous provider and approve it for instant porting.
4th It may take a few days until your previous provider has approved the phone number. During this period, you have a transition number so that you can use the tariff to the fullest right from the start.

You will usually receive the SIM card by post within 1-3 working days of ordering.

As a private customer, you will receive your monthly bill via the digital customer portal at www.freenet-mobilfunk.de or in the Freenet app. Business customers will receive their bill by email.

Call the blocking hotline immediately: 040 5555 41 040. The SIM card is then immediately blocked to prevent misuse and you will receive a new replacement card (for a fee).
